Jorge A. Amador, Esq., CPA, CFF
Jorge is a Lawyer and a Certified Public Accountant, and Certified in Financial Forensics with over 25 years of corporate and public accounting experience, including disputes, litigation, forensic investigations, discovery and regulatory compliance.
Formerly the Director of Forensic Accounting at a major securities law firm— where he led a group of accounting professionals that investigated private securities lawsuits involving complex financial issues—Jorge holds dual degrees in law and accounting, and is a licensed attorney in the State of California. He has advised and litigated such major cases as Tyco, Enron and Rite Aid, and has a unique legal perspective on financial disputes.
In addition to his work in securities litigation, Jorge has provided expert testimony in a wide range of matters involving intellectual property, securities, solvency, alter ego, environmental contamination, and purchase price disputes Jorge regularly lectures and teaches courses on a broad variety of accounting topics. Jorge is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Bar Association.
