Karen D. Edwards, CPA, CIA, CFE

Ms. Edwards is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified Fraud Examiner with over 15 years experience in internal audit, financial reporting, taxes, business area accounting, and treasury. Her industry experience includes financial services, telecommunications, and manufacturing, as part of which experience Ms. Edwards successfully streamlined accounting processes, identified contractual gaps in vendor compliance audits, implemented automated accounting workpaper applications, and created internal audit quality assurance functionality. Ms. Edwards is also an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at Union County College in the State of New Jersey, having created and delivered lesson plans to more than 100 students. Further, Ms. Edwards possesses significant software experience, including Microsoft Office, TeamMate, Hyperion, Oracle, and Crystal Reports.
